QLDA Day of 100 Dances

QLDA Day of 100 Dances (Rockhampton)
Saturday 23 May 2026

This is the third year that QLDA's Day of 100 Dances has been run.  This was originally the brainchild of Mary Biles with Tracey Daffey suggesting the first event be held in Townsville in 2024.  This event was an outstanding success and the committee decided that it would be an event that we would hold each year - in a different regional area of our great state.

There are a lot of our members who live in rural and regional areas so the idea was to organise a QLDA event to be held in a regional centre: Townsville, Bundaberg and now Rockhampton.

Not everyone can attend our annual Ball which is held in Brisbane, so this was one way of us giving back to our members in regional areas.

QLDA would love you to join Tracey, Sue, Lorrae, Ruth & Teigan at this amazing event in Rockhampton on Saturday 23 May.     They have all been working hard behind the scenes to organise this event for you.  An Information Flyer with further information can be found below.

As the program of dances is developed, we will publish it here for you all to access -  so WATCH THIS SPACE!

All proceeds from this event will be donated to QLDA's chosen charity for 2026: Farm Angels.
